Experts have called on Government to consider measures that would tackle harmful algorithms or compel social media companies to make their data available to researchers in a bid to tackle online harms.
The Government has re-committed to its plans for an age verification tool for accessing social media while it “explores” options around age restrictions with other EU member states.
