Q I am halfway into a 30-year mortgage term on my home. I live in a small rural village and my bank closed its branch here a few years ago. I’ve since opened a current account with my local credit union, which still has a presence in the area.
I would like to have all my banking “under the one roof” and so I am considering switching my mortgage to my credit union. Is it possible to switch a mortgage from a bank to a credit union?
