JJ Clarke, producer, joins host Adrian on this week’s episode of The Big Tech Show.
Adrian began by discussing Amazon’s new Vulcan robot which has a sense of touch. He pointed out to producer JJ Clarke that the robot will be used for stacking and packing and searching for packages. The conversation focused on Amazon plans to automate the more difficult tasks within their warehouses. The tech editor explained that additional human jobs will be created as a result of this advancement, for example human operators who could help the robot if it gets confused or stuck.
