‘Artificial intelligence can fill in potholes,” says Shane MacSweeney. His enthusiasm for the subject is likely a function of two very different aspects of his life.

MacSweeney is financial services giant EY’s global infrastructure lead, a continent-spanning role managing teams advising governments, investors and institutions on billions of euro of capital spending.
