The Irish manufacturing sector continued to expand in May, shrugging off the impact of tariffs and the threat of even steeper US levies.

The latest monthly purchasing managers’ index (PMI) for Irish manufacturers recorded a robust increase in output volumes during May, extending the current period of growth to five months.
