The passenger cap at Dublin Airport is “clearly” having an impact on the gateway’s expansion, an international gathering of aviation executives in New Delhi has been told.

At the AGM of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Willie Walsh, its director general, said it is “madness” that Dublin Airport has been permitted to build new infrastructure, including a second main runway, but remains curtailed by its passenger cap.
