A property management and investment company that emerged from the ashes of a previous business is expecting a sharp increase in turnover.
Edinburgh-based ArcGroup was formed in 2023 by three long-serving employees of the collapsed Sandstone UK Property Management.
Anna Renton, Samantha Curran and Michelle Gill had 50 years in cumulative service with the company.
ArcGroup now employs 20 staff across the UK in two divisions, ArcInvest and ArcProperty Management & Lettings, and has brought in a number of former client landlords as well as investors who lost money in the failure of Sandstone, the vehicle of property veteran Peter Grant. Part of that company was sold to DJ Alexander.
After posting £2 million in combined revenue for 10 months to the end of August last year ArcGroup is forecasting £3.2m in this current 12 months trading year.
It has assets under management of £95m with a projected portfolio of £112m by August this year.
Growth has been supported by increasing international investor activity in the Middle East and Asia. These overseas relationships are driving new business across the Group’s investment and management businesses, supported by growing demand for UK residential property expertise from UK and international buyers.
Future expansion will be augmented by the recent announcement of an estate agency arm, ArcProperty Estates and ArcInteriors.
Ms Renton said: “During our time at Sandstone we fostered strong relations with clients. On the back of the insolvency many of them reached out to us and we saw that with the support of our clients it could be an opportunity for us.
“Reaching circa two million in turnover so early, while expanding internationally and launching new divisions, reflects the strength of our team and the confidence our clients place in us.”
