Global economy at risk of ‘potentially large shocks’ that could build up

International Monetary Fund (IMF) managing director Kristalina Georgieva said it is too early to gauge the economic impact of tensions over Greenland, though it could be a headwind for growth.
“We have run all kinds of simulations of what may happen, and what we do see in these simulations is that we deviate from keeping trade more or less on the right track, that could hold growth down,” Ms Georgieva told Bloomberg Television, in Davos, Switzerland.
