Request to extend the deadline for businesses to correct errors on their payroll systems has been turned down
Companies have until January 30 to make disclosures about payroll
Revenue has turned down a request from the Restaurants Association of Ireland to extend a deadline of January 30 for businesses to correct errors on their payroll system that arose from “bogus self-employment”.
The restaurants’ lobby group is meeting with Revenue tomorrow to press its case for businesses to be given more time to deal with the fallout from a Supreme Court ruling in a 2023 case involving Karshan, a Domino’s Pizza franchisee, which set down rules on employment status.
