The chief executive of the business lobby group Ibec has said a campaign by farmers’ representatives to unseat Larry Murrin as chairman of Bord Bia is “disproportionate” and potentially damaging.
Mr Murrin is facing calls to resign from the semi-state agency after it emerged his company, Dawn Farms, imported a small amount of Brazilian beef.
