What’s in the India-EU trade deal and what does it mean for Ireland?

India and the European Union have concluded talks on a two-way trade agreement, after decades of discussions.

The deal paves the way for freer trade of goods across a combined market of nearly two billion consumers and around €1 in every €4 of global economic activity.
