Calls have been made for a shake-up of how the financial services ombudsman’s office operates after it was revealed that large numbers of consumer complaints are being rejected.
This is particularly the case with tracker mortgage cases, where no complaints from consumers were upheld in 2023 and 2024. Figures for last year are not yet available.
