Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss announced layoffs at Gemini
Gemini, the cryptocurrency exchange founded by the US billionaire Winklevoss twins, says it is pulling out of Europe and other non-US markets as it announced significant layoffs yesterday.
It comes just over a year after Gemini moved its EU headquarters from Ireland to Malta. At the time it was described as a blow to confidence in Ireland’s position as an EU location for financial blockchain and cryptocurrency firms.
