From solar panels to lagging jackets, here are five ways you can boost your home’s BER rating

When improving an older home’s energy rating, the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) advises aiming for a BER rating of B2.

According to the SEAI, a B2 rating is considered the benchmark for “excellent energy performance” and as well as saving money on bills, hitting the B2 mark will also make for a more comfortable home and reduce your carbon footprint.
