Aberdein Considine has strengthened its corporate offering in the central belt with the appointment of Stewart Gordon as partner in the law firm’s Edinburgh office.
Mr Gordon joins its Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 ranked corporate team from Addleshaw Goddard where he was a managing associate in the infrastructure, projects and energy team.
His appointment will enable the Aberdeen-headquartered firm to expand its corporate and M&A practice in Scotland’s central belt, as well as to further develop its energy team.
Ritchie Whyte, partner and head of corporate at Aberdein Considine, said: “Stewart brings more than a decade’s experience in successfully handling complex M&A and corporate transactions and in addition brings excellent renewable energy sector experience in onshore wind, hydro and solar projects.”
Mr Gordon said: “I was attracted to this role by the firm’s objective in growing their corporate M&A practice in Edinburgh and the central belt, which aligns with my ambitions.
“In addition to M&A work, I look forward to assisting existing and new clients with general commercial contracts advisory work including renewables, EV charging, construction and data protection.”
