Germany looks poised to introduce age restrictions on social media in a move likely to increase tensions with US president Donald Trump.
The co-governing Social Democrats on Monday threw their weight behind a proposal from German chancellor Friedrich Merz’s conservatives to limit the services for those under the age of 16.
