The Boots store on Dawson Street in Dublin was targeted by an organised crime gang soon after it began selling skincare and cosmetics.

What sells well gets stolen, the chain’s managing director Stephen Watkins explained. And because it’s a small shop, it was easy for the gang to do a quick smash and grab.
