Despite concerns that AI will replace people in the investment world, Leo Casey reminds his staff of one crucial deal-making skill AI still hasn’t mastered: only humans can share a glass of red wine.

Casey, who heads up the State- and bank-backed investment fund BGF in Ireland, is a strong believer in people power. This perspective is especially relevant as his fund focuses on founder-led, and often family-owned SMEs.
