A major fire engulfed a building in central Glasgow on Sunday afternoon, causing a building to partially collapse and disrupting road and rail services.
The blaze broke out in a vape shop near Glasgow Central railway station which was closed until further notice. A coffee shop in the building has been “destroyed,” its owners have said.
The dome on the building next to Central Station is said to have fallen and the Voco Grand Hotel was evacuated.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said 15 appliances were called to the scene at about 3.45pm and crews were pumping water out of the River Clyde in order to battle the flames.
The SFRS said they had no reported casualties.
