Ryanair chief Michael O’Leary says airline could scrap Boeing orders if tariffs raise prices

Ryanair would consider cancelling its 330 Boeing aircraft orders and shifting to alternative manufacturers if tariffs significantly affect the price of the planes, chief executive officer Michael O’Leary has said.

He made the comment in a letter written in response to a warning from US representative Raja Krishnamoorthi, a Democrat from Illinois, who told Ryanair that US and European airlines should not buy aircraft from Chinese planemaker Comac for security reasons.
