A few years ago, broadband – or the lack of it – was one of Ireland’s biggest ongoing stories. Between Ireland’s then-controversial €3bn rural rollout subsidy, 5G and national industry at risk without it, the topic was never out of the headlines.
Fast forward to 2025 and it’s barely mentioned anymore. Broadband, as a national issue, is almost totally solved.
