Wall St heads for all-time high despite wars and looming threat to trade

US stocks rose in morning trading on Friday and put Wall Street on track to close at an all-time high just days after the US bombed Iran and with tensions in the Middle East still strained

The S&P 500 rose 0.5pc in early trading, putting it on course for a record high. The Nasdaq composite rose 0.5pc and is also on track for a record. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.9pc.
