A fifth of companies reserve an average of €2.7m for future cyber attacks

The average ransomware payment among large Irish businesses has risen to €683,000, according to a new survey of 200 Irish-based enterprises.
The research, conducted by Expleo, also claims that 29pc of big firms paid at least one cyber ransom last year – and that a fifth of companies reserve an average of €2.7m for future cyber attacks.
