A hospital reminder text wrongly labelled as ‘likely scam’ under the new national anti-fraud SMS system
Medical appointments, payment notifications and other legitimate SMS texts continue to be disrupted as Ireland’s scam text notification system continues to label real texts as ‘likely scam’, two weeks after its introduction.
A spokesperson for the telecoms regulator, Comreg, said that the glitchy system still hasn’t been fixed.
