Stock-market IPOs up in the US and down in Europe – but none in Ireland

Global values are on the rise, but Irish exchange has not capitalised despite incentives

There were 539 stock-market flotations worldwide in the first six months of the year, but none of them in Ireland, despite new incentives being introduced in Budget 2025.

The global IPOs raised $61.4bn, a 17pc increase in value year-on-year, according to a new report by EY.
