Irish exports rose last month for the first time since March, with some evidence that efforts to find new overseas markets are proving successful.

The manufacturing sector’s recent strong growth continued in July, according to the AIB Irish Manufacturing PMI – the index is at 53.2, with anything over 50 representing an expansion.
