From fillers to fat reduction, Botox to Profhilo, the market for non-surgical cosmetic procedures is booming. Last month, a UK study revealed that people are spending more on beauty than on going to the gym, football matches and amusement parks combined, with the beauty industry growing four times faster than the wider economy.
The fastest growth was in non-invasive aesthetic treatments – or “tweakments”, as they’re often called – which rose by 15pc in 2024 alone, according to the research by Oxford Economics.
