It’s hard watching your parents getting older, but talking to them about getting older can be even harder.
“It’s a taboo topic,” says Mark Solon, director of Symmetry Financial Management (symmetryfinancial.ie). “Why is it a taboo topic? Because it’s more or less discussing death, or invalidity of some form, which happens to a lot of us, unfortunately.”
