Speed Fibre Group, the British-owned firm that operates under the Enet and Magnet+ brands in Ireland, has completed its €22m acquisition of the wholesale and enterprise unit of BT’s Irish operations.
Under the deal, over 300 employees of BT Communications Ireland (BTCIL) will now work for Speed Fibre’s Enet and Magnet+ brands. Enet is the company’s wholesale operation, selling connectivity to retail broadband sellers, while Magnet+ is the enterprise business, selling connectivity to corporate entities and large organisations.
