Primark is close to finalising a settlement in the United States over claims that the Irish-founded retailer of budget fashion copied the UGG boot.
The US arm of Primark – known here as Penneys – has been embroiled in a long-running copycat row with Deckers Outdoor Corporation, owner in the US of the UGG boot brand.
