Irish households have more than €165bn locked away in savings – but what will encourage them to invest it instead?
Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe
The most persistent demand made of Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe in the run-up to Budget 2026 has not been to reduce Vat on hospitality, add cost-of-living supports, or even cut back on spending.
