Exchequer expects to collect extra €2bn in corporation tax next year

Bumper corporation tax receipts, which have been propping up the Exchequer for over a decade, are set to continue next year.

According to a white paper issued by the Department of Finance yesterday, another €34bn is likely to be collected in 2026. This will be €2bn more than is expected this year.
