It takes a certain kind of chutzpah for a chef to say he wants to be Ireland’s answer to Jamie Oliver. But TV chef, author and food entrepreneur Mark Moriarty’s bid to build a culinary empire is already taking shape, in bricks and mortar.

Moriarty, who was theSan Pellegrino World Young Chef of the Year in 2015, is a well-known face from his popular RTÉ cooking show Off Duty Chef. But he has for now left behind the world of chasing Michelin stars.
