An environmental group has launched legal action to try to force the Government to reveal the climate impact of Ireland’s ongoing push to hugely expand agri-food exports.
Friends of the Irish Environment (FIE) last week began High Court proceedings against the Taoiseach, the Department of An Taoiseach and against the Commissioner for Environmental Information related to what it claims is a lack of transparency on the climate impact of the ambitious Food Vision 2030 plan.
