Stephen Vernon wins top accolade at KPMG ‘Irish Independent’ Property Industry Excellence Awards

The event’s most prestigious accolade, the Lifetime Achievement Property Excellence Award, was presented to Stephen Vernon, one of Ireland’s most influential property figures, whose career has been defined by vision, timing and leadership. His mastery of the property cycle has been evident throughout a distinguished career that includes the landmark development and sale of Blanchardstown Shopping Centre.

The Architecture Award went to Reddy A+U (Architect) & HOK (Design Architect) for their patient-centred design that enhances healing and sustainability at the Bon Secours Hospital, Limerick.

The Construction Project Award went to Bennett Construction Ltd for their RCSI Project Connect education and research facility integrating modern design with protected structures at St Stephen’s Green, Dublin.

Cairn won the Developer Award for redefining Irish homebuilding through sustainability, innovation, and community with 10,000 homes completed.

The Iveagh Trust received the Housing Award for their Stonemount Park sustainable housing project in Ballyfermot which blends design, management, and resident engagement for long-term community wellbeing.

The Placemaking & Planning Award went to Cairn for its Seven Mills, Parkleigh, Cooper Square, and Lockhouse Way scheme delivering 1,900 homes, public realm and active travel networks in Cappagh, Dublin 22.

Estate agent Owen Reilly won the Small Agency Award for delivering premium results through innovation, sustainability and a client-first service.

Land Development Agency achieved the PropTech Award for its Register of Relevant Public Lands, a national digital map identifying all public land, supporting transparency, planning and optimal land use.

Irish Life Investment Managers was honoured with the Property Fund Manager Award for managing Ireland’s largest mixed-use institutional portfolio with ESG principles to deliver enduring value.
