‘Magnified’ podcast host questioned in wake of Ivan Yates podcast debacle

Broadcaster Matt Cooper has said that “all relevant disclosures have been made” after he was asked if he declared to listeners that he was interviewing business people represented by a public relations firm where his daughter worked.
The Social Democrats have called for broadcasters to make disclosures of interests in the wake of the Irish Independent revealing that Cooper’s former podcast co-host Ivan Yates was paid to provide media training to Jim Gavin in the presidential election but he did not declare it while doing broadcast work.
