One of the country’s leading accountants has warned planned rises in labour costs, including the introduction of pension auto-enrolment and a minimum wage hike, will push some small businesses into insolvency.
CEO of Azets Ireland, Neil Hughes, said his firm’s latest survey of businesses shows the escalating cost of doing business is having a major impact on Ireland’s small and mid-sized businesses.
