When Claire Fullam, the lifestyle blogger who built a large following by candidly sharing her experience with alopecia, discovered photographs of her personal life circulating online, the economics of digital influence revealed a human cost she could no longer bear.
“I received screenshots of pictures of our car reg, my kids’ trampoline in my front garden and a picture of my hall door. That was enough and absolutely damn crazy,” she said.
