Irish schools trademark names and logos in a bid to protect intellectual property

Secondary schools across the country are trademarking their names and logos in a push that is being aided by Dublin law firm Mason Hayes and Curran.

More than a dozen schools have already had their names and logos trademarked with the assistance of the law firm and include institutions from fee-paying schools to community schools.
