UK private equity group Lonsdale Capital Partners is hoping to acquire as many as 40 veterinary practices in Ireland over the coming years, as it plots its entry into the sector.
The move marks the latest consolidation play that has been seen across a number of professional services sectors in Ireland in which Lonsdale has been involved – from accountancy firms to dental practices.
