Carolyn Currie, Marie Owen and Willie Watt
Scottish business and political leaders, scientists, academics and key figures in the arts and sport are among those named in the New Year Honours List.
A 1970s pop star, a Lisbon Lion and Olympic skaters are included alongside hundreds of individuals who have made a difference to their community.
Professor Simon Milne, regius keeper and chief executive of the Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh is knighted, along with former Labour MP Adam Ingram, while Willie Watt, chairman of the Scottish National Investment Bank, is made a CBE.
Also appointed a CBE is Prof Susan Rigby, principal and vice-chancellor at Edinburgh Napier University.
Among those receiving the OBE are former Hearts chair and CEO Ann Budge, CBI Scotland director Michelle Ferguson and Marie Owen, founder and chief executive of LS Productions.
Carolyn Currie, chief executive of Women’s Enterprise Scotland, is made an MBE.
Canadian Fergus McCann, 84 – who saved the Celtic from going to the wall in the 1990s – is honoured for services to the economy and charity. The Lisbon Lion Jim Craig is honoured for his services to football and charity.
British Olympic ice skating champions Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill (now Christensen) become a knight and a dame. Others knighted are the television writer Roy Clarke, the actor Idris Elba and Tristram Hunt, director of the V&A.

Prof Lorna Dawson, head of the centre for forensic soil science at James Hutton Institute, Aberdeen, becomes a dame, alongside the Aberdeen-born Labour MP Anneliese Dodds and the comedian Meera Syal.
TV and film is also represented by Warwick Davis, Gaby Logan, Marcus Wareing and Clive Tydesley. Auchterarder-born Eve Graham, 82, who was a member of the 1970s pop group The New Seekers, is among the musicians.
The oldest recipient this year is John Hearn, who at 102 receives a BEM for services to judo and to the community in North East England. He is one of four centenarians on the list.
