While all eyes are on who Donald Trump will appoint to lead the US Federal Reserve, America’s central bank, no one has been too concerned about who the Irish Government will choose to lead ours. Until now.
Gabriel Makhlouf was appointed as governor for a seven-year term on September 1, 2019. Which means his term expires at the end of August.
