But Simon Harris has not promised any immediate help for households with higher energy bills

The Minister for Finance, Simon Harris, has said his Department will do a full economic analysis of what impact the war in the Middle East is likely to have on the nation’s finances.
He told the Oireachtas committee on budgetary oversight that the analysis will be completed by the end of the month, when the Department of Finance is due to publish a Spring forecast.
