Deals done for most Dundalk Business Park sites

Greenpark House is a 153,000 sqft new manufacturing facility which is being leased to Hanley Energy Ltd

Dundalk property developer Tanola, headed by Niall Hughes, has done deals for seven of its eight sites in Dundalk Business Park in Co Louth. His agent, Brian Carroll of Sherry FitzGerald Carroll, is quoting €13.50 per sqft for a lease on an industrial or logistics unit available to be built on the last of the sites in the 22-acre business park.

The most recent deal was for the pre-let of Greenpark House, a 153,000 sqft new manufacturing facility which is being leased to Hanley Energy Ltd, to facilitate its expansion plans and to service the new Equinix contract to manufacture low-voltage switchgear, power distribution units and remote power panels for data centres.

Tanola will build the property on a 6.5-acre site and the occupants have agreed a 20-year lease. Hanley Energy was recently acquired by the American multinational manufacturing company Jabil.

This will be the third building on the site. The first will be a 48,000 sqft steelworks building which is nearing completion and will be occupied by Dundalk Fabrication, a sister company of Tanola. Construction work is also underway on a third building. Some of the others will be developed by the purchasers of the sites.
