Capital injection positions company to pursue £50m revenue target

European Green Transition (EGT), the London-listed company led by Donegal entrepreneur Cathal Friel, has raised £7.5m (€8.69m) to help finance its purchase of the wind turbine maintenance assets of Arena Capital Partners.
The company initially aimed to raise £5m, but increased its target due to investor demand. The placing of new ordinary shares has to be approved by shareholders at a general meeting on March 30.
