
Anderson Strathern Asset Management (ASAM) has appointed Arlene Ewing as managing director and she will oversee its dual-led model combining financial planning and discretionary fund management.
Ms Ewing is a former Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) president for Scotland and CISI Mentor of the Year 2025.
Her appointment comes at a time of significant change in the wealth management sector with the rise of AI and investment technologies coupled with significant changes to laws affecting estate planning.
“This is set to be another challenging year for many individuals who are anxious to know how to plan and protect the futures of themselves and their families,” she said.
“As a leader and passionate mentor in our sector, I am looking forward to growing the ASAM team and developing the next generation of modern asset management experts in Scotland.”
Arlene’s appointment brings the ASAM team up to 21 including financial advisers, fund managers and support staff working with clients across Scotland.
