In Ireland, few topics stir as much quiet discomfort as money. Splitting the bill was once the inevitable, awkward finale to a night out, but thanks to apps like Revolut, even that social minefield has been largely defused.
But while money has become easier to manage over dinner, it’s a different story in the workplace. Salary remains one of the most delicate and often dreaded aspects of the recruitment process. And unlike social spending, there’s no Revolut for that moment when a salary offer is less than expected.
