Aer Lingus chief executive Lynne Embleton has said the airline is considering legal options in order to remove a limit on night-time flights at Dublin Airport.

An Coimisiún Pleanála recently restricted aircraft movements between 11pm and 7am at the airport to 35,672 per year, the equivalent of 98 per night. The new north runway cannot be used between midnight and 6am, apart from in exceptional circumstances.
