The race is on. With Leaving Cert celebrations taking place this weekend and the first round CAO offers dropping on Wednesday, students who accept an offer to study away from home will be scrambling to secure accommodation.
It’s a challenge for anybody to find a home or flat to rent at the moment – but students tend to be the ones with the least amount of money to spend, so it can be a fraught exercise.
