This weird thing started happening about six weeks ago. I ordered a prescription from the pharmacist, and a few hours later they sent me the usual text to say it was ready. Except the text was labelled “likely scam”. What?
I’d heard that ComReg, the communications regulator, had launched a new system to tackle text fraud.
